More engineering works on Manchester Metrolink

There will be two sets of engineering works on the Manchester Metrolink network over the weekend of Saturday 10^th and Sunday 11 April leading to the Altrincham line being suspended and Rochdale to East Didsbury services diverted away from the Second City Crossing.

The two sets of work will take place as follows:

Altrincham line

• No trams from Piccadilly to Altrincham all weekend to allow for work to take place at Old Trafford
• A replacement bus service will run serving all stops on the line. This will be every 10 minutes 0800 to 2000 on Saturday 11^th, every 20 minutes 0600-0800 and 2000-0000 on Saturday 11^th and every 15 minutes throughout Sunday 12^th

Second City Crossing

• No trams will run via 2CC throughout the weekend due to works at Town Hall. Exchange Square stop will be closed.
• All trams between Rochdale and East Didsbury will be diverted via the first city crossing (Shudehill/Market Street)

Both lines should be back to normal from the start of service on Monday 12^th April.
