Docklands Light Railway Christmas & New Year service

The planned services for London Tramlink across the Christmas and New Year period have now been announced. Similar to previous years all journeys across the Transport for London network will be free of charge between 2345 on Saturday 31st December 2011 and 0430 the following morning.

The service planned is as follows:

Saturday 24th December: Buses will replace trains between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay all day. Other routes will operate a modified Saturday service with last trains at Sunday times.

Sunday 25th December: No service.

Monday 26th December: Buses replace trains between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay. All other routes will see a 15 minute service between 0830 and 2330.

Tuesday 27th December: Buses replace trains between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay. Other routes will operate a modified Saturday service.

Wednesday 28th December: Buses replace trains between Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay (it will not serve Bank). Other routes will operate a modified Monday-Friday service.

Thursday 29th December: Buses replace trains between Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay (it will not serve Bank). Other routes will operate a modified Monday-Friday service.

Friday 30th December: Buses replace trains between Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay (it will not serve Bank). Other routes will operate a modified Monday-Friday service.

Saturday 31st December: Buses replace trains between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay. A modified Saturday service will operate on other routes, reducing to every 15 minutes overnight after 0100.

Monday 1st January 2012: Buses replace trains between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay. Other routes will operate every 15 minutes until 1200 and then every 10 minutes until 2330.

Monday 2nd January 2012: Buses replace trains between Bank/Tower Gateway and Poplar/West India Quay. Other routes will operate a modified Saturday service.
