London Tramlink Christmas & New Year service

The planned services for London Tramlink across the Christmas and New Year period have now been announced. Similar to previous years all journeys across the Transport for London network will be free of charge between 2345 on Saturday 31st December 2011 and 0430 the following morning.

The service planned is as follows:

Saturday 24th December: Saturday service until 2000 when the frequency will be reduced to every 20 minutes on line 3 and lines 1 and 2 will be reduced to every 25 minutes.

Sunday 25th December: No service

Monday 26th December: Sunday service with frequency increased between Wimbledon and East Croydon to every 7-8 minutes between 1000 and 1700.

Tuesday 27th December: Sunday service with frequency increased between Wimbledon and East Croydon to every 7-8 minutes between 1000 and 1700.

Wednesday 28th December: Saturday service.

Thursday 29th December: Saturday service.

Friday 30th December: Saturday service.

Saturday 31st December: Saturday service and then a limited service will run throughout the night – Wimbledon-New Addington every 30 minutes, Wimbledon-Beckenham Junction every 30 minutes

Monday 1st January 2012: A normal Sunday service following on from the overnight service.

Tuesday 2nd January 2012: Sunday service
