We stay in the Italian city of Milan for this latest foray into trams operating abroad.
This is Jumbotram 4985 which is caught up in the same queue of trams as we saw last week in Via Broletto held up by a large march and protest taking place ahead. There are 100 Jumbotrams with the trams numbered 4900 to 4999 in the Milan fleet between 1976 and 1978. They were built in two series with the first constructed by Fiat Ferroviaria and the second by Stanga – 4985 was part of this second series.
