In this article we again look at trams “15 Years Apart” and its another of the M5000s on Manchester Metrolink which is featured.
3003 was the second of the M5000s to arrive in Manchester when it was delivered on 12th September 2009. By 29th March 2010 it has entered service and was being used in service on this day with a working going into Piccadilly, seen just after leaving St Peter’s Square. The tram is in its original fleet livery and it still looks fresh and new. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)
In December 2025 it received its first full advertising livery when it got vinyls for the BRIT Awards, albeit short-lived as they were removed in the same month. Earlier in the year it had also received partial adverts for Oasis at Heaton Park. The tram is at Trafford Bar with an Altrincham to Piccadilly service. (Photograph by Reece Hughes)
