More electrical supply problems for NET

Anyone got 50p for the meter?! Coming just a few days after the previous power supply problems on Nottingham Express Transit there was a further disruption to the service on Monday 4th November, although this time not as lengthy as the previous incident on 31st October.

This time around the incident was first reported on NET’s social media accounts at around 0700 with no trams running between Royal Centre and Wilford Lane/University Boulevard. It seemed the problem was sorted though as around 0745 it was announced a full service was back up and running. However, by 0845 it was disrupted again with the section between Wilkinson Street and Nottingham Station seeing no trams. The issue was finally solved shortly after 1030 with trams able to operate across the whole network.

* And just to prove that it isn’t just NET who have power supply issues the same reason was given for a service suspension between Wimbledon and Mitcham on London Tramlink on Friday 8th November.
