Whilst in Edinburgh the mobile signal has lessened in recent days with an advert for EE being removed on 275 it is the opposite case in Manchester where 3096 has just been unveiled in a new ad for Vodafone – the fifth M5000 to be sponsored by this company.
This is a slightly revised advert to that carried on 3017, 3047, 3093 and 3100 although still sees the familiar bright red colour with the windows covered in the vinyls but features the slogan “Be Unlimited” which is part of their current advertising campaign. The previous four trams all received their adverts in 2018 as part of a deal which sees Vodafone provide the onboard Wi-Fi and now it appears the contract has been extended!
