Around the World in Trams: Palermo 08

Still in Palermo for this week’s photos from outside of the British Isles as we again feature a couple of images of Flexity Outlook 08.

The Flexity Outlook trams entered service in 2015 at the time the system opened and have remained in service ever since in the very plain but effective all over white livery. In the first image below we see 08 just arriving at Roccella. This is a terminus with two platforms and route 1 sees a tram every five minutes on weekdays – the most frequent service on the network.

Then later on the same day of 17th September 2018 we catch up with 08 again, this time as crowds board the tram at Stazione Centrale for a late afternoon working.
