Edinburgh Trams have been celebrating another award having been given the High Business Growth accolade at the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Business Awards – the third year that they have been recognised at these awards.
The award was given for demonstrating a strong development plan and a clear strategy for growth. Edinburgh Trams were also shortlisted in the Best Large Business, Director of the Year and Service Excellence categories but obviously didn’t win those!

Edinburgh Trams continues to exceed expectations and we are extremely proud that our overall patronage has grown by 40%, and our airport patronage has grown by over 56% between 2015 and 2018. The growing list of awards we’ve received really is testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team who are passionate when it comes to providing a safe, reliable service for customers and a tramway the city can be proud of.”
