Picture in Time: Blackpool Jubilee 762

We are back in the early 1990s for our latest trip into the past with Blackpool Jubilee 762 the tram featured today.

The below photo shows 762 on the approach to Bispham from the south as it operates a service through to Cleveleys. Although built for one man operation 762 is obviously being used here with a crew with a conductor standing alongside the driver. 762 was the second of two Balloon Cars to be converted for one man operation with lessons learnt from the rebuild of 761 which saw a centre exit provided in addition to the front entrance/exit. The tram is in fleet livery and was caught in either 1992 or 1993.
