Around the World in 18 Trams: Rouen 812

Into France as we continue our trips around the world with a trip here to Rouen in Northern France.

This is 812 which is leaving the northern terminus at Boulingren with a service for St Georges Braque. The two route system of standard gauge runs mainly in tunnel from Boulingren through the city centre before coming to the surface and then splitting into two branches mainly on reserved right of way. This tram is of the so-called Grenoble type and was part of batch built by Alstom in 1993-4. The date is 7th September 2001.
