It isn’t just the section of Midland Metro along Bilston Road that is to see engineering works this weekend with no trams running between Black Lake and West Bromwich Central on Sunday 5th November.
The stops at Dudley Street, Dartmouth Street and Lodge Road will be closed from the start of service on Sunday 5th November with the service split into two.
Trams will run between Priestfield and Black Lake and from West Bromwich Central to Grand Central until 1900 and then there will be an hour where no trams will run at all between West Bromwich Central and Priestfield (the service continues West Bromwich Central-Grand Central). Then from 2000 a full service will run between Priestfield and Grand Central. No replacement bus service will run with passengers directed towards regular service buses.
