In Pictures: LRTA visit to Crich as part of AGM Weekend

The Light Rail Transit Association held their Annual General Meeting in Sheffield on Saturday 4th October 2025 and made a weekend of it in the city and further afield. This included a trip to the Crich Tramway Village on Sunday 5th October 2025 where London County Council 1 was used for the benefit of LRTA members. Stuart Cooke with the below images.

London County Council 1 “Bluebird” sits on the depot fan before entering service for the LRTA. London Transport 1622 is also out the depot and is seen behind 1. The eagle eyed amongst you will also notice Liverpool 762 and Wallasey 78 in the depot.

Out onto the mainline and Bluebird waits to be called forward at Stephenson Place.

Inside the tram with a view of the stunningly restored top-deck.

And a view of the lower deck.

Sheffield 510 was in service as part of the ordinary service and is seen here through the front top deck windows of 1.
