There isn’t a huge amount added to the website this week but we have been continuing our spring cleaning on the Fleet Lists section and there is also the addition of a Picture of the Week photos archive:
Picture of the Week photos archive 2016 – containing all photos used on the home page as Picture of the Week during 2016 (http://www.britishtramsonline.co.uk/gallerycover16.html)
In the Fleet Lists section (http://www.britishtramsonline.co.uk/fleets.html) we have added Long Marston as a new location (http://www.britishtramsonline.co.uk/longmarston.html) and have also updated and tidied up the Fleet Lists from Manchester Metrolink (http://www.britishtramsonline.co.uk/manchester.html) and Midland Metro (http://www.britishtramsonline.co.uk/midland.html).
And this is where the appeal comes in! On both the Manchester Metrolink and Midland Metro Fleet Lists we have attempted to list dates when trams were delivered and also when they entered service. Unfortunately our records are not complete so if anyone can fill in any of the gaps on those Fleet Lists we would be grateful and you can email us at gareth@britishtramsonline.co.uk with further details.
Re long Marston fleet list. You reported in 2014/that Blackpool bush 636 was also at long Marston. Is this still there.
On the LM list, it takes me to London Tramlink. Is this an iOS 9 glitch?
It’s more of GP glitch to be honest! It will be corrected at next week’s update but in the meantime the fleet list can be found at http://www.britishtramsonline.co.uk/longmarston.html
Was it not just there for a one off corporate event and is now back in Derby?
I’m pretty sure its in Derby again unless someone can confirm otherwise.
Are you aware that Long marston links to Croydon tramlink when you click on it?
Yes it has been pointed out! Will all be sorted at next weekend’s update.
