Metrolink 3094 arrives in Manchester

3094 has become the latest M5000 to be delivered to Queen’s Road Depot with the vehicle arriving on Saturday 17th January 2015 – the first delivery of 2015. The arrival of 3094 is significant as it is the final member of the order which was placed to replace the T68 and T68As and it seemed for a while that it would be the last of the class to be built for Metrolink (although of course further orders have now been placed to bring the total number up to 120).

    All M5000s from 3001-3012, 3014-3086 and 3088 to 3093 operating?

    When I came home from Sainsbury’s in Ashton, I saw 3045 and 3002 paired. 3045 had no Selfridges wrap on.

    3022 was in a crash with a Toyota and damaged its coupler cover. Was on a Bury-Alty direct with 3023. Prolly be out of use for a week or so. 🙁
