In Pictures: Stadlers across the Tramlink network

As we reported at the weekend the Stadler built Variotrams have started to see use across the London Tramlink network rather than being confined to Lines 1 and 4 to Elmers End. This was the case on Tuesday 1st April when all six of the trams were in action with all the routes seeing a Stadler in service meaning that it was possible to traverse the complete Tramlink network on a Variotram – a pretty rare occurrence up until recently. On this day 2554 and 2559 were on lines 1/4 (Elmers End), 2555, 2557 and 2558 were on line 2 (Beckenham Junction) and 2556 was in use on line 3 (New Addington-Wimbledon).

2555 stands at Beckenham Junction on a sunny 1st April. Note that the tram is using the road side platform rather the station side platform as is now the norm.
