Another update from the Blackpool Tramway where more long-standing adverts on Flexity2 trams have been removed, or are in the process of being removed. This time the tram which has lost all of its adverts is 002 whilst 009 is also in the process of seeing its taken off.
002 – anther of the named trams, this one after Alderman E E Wynne, a controversial decision in the eyes of many as he was in charge of the Transport Committee and advocated the complete closure of the tramway – had been carrying above window ads for Fleetwood Market and the centre section below window vinyls for heart attack and stroke prevention.
But September has arrived and these have now all been removed returning the tram into the standard fleet livery of purple and white.
The next tram likely to be completely blank of adverts is 009 which has seen work starting on its own adverts being removed. It had been advertising the NHS Organ Donation scheme whilst it too was carrying some adverts for heart attack and stroke prevention.

002 approaches Gynn Square from the south on 13th September with a service to Fleetwood Ferry. As can be seen here the tram is now running in full fleet livery with no external advertising present.

Talbot Square on 14th September where 009 is calling at the one direction stop on its way to North Station. Three of the five sections of the tram have had their NHS Organ Donation ads removed from this side. The other side still has all adverts, including the heart attack and stroke prevention sticker.
