We have another “Trams &” for you today and its Blackpool the location.
One of Blackpool’s modern trams – Flexity2 011 – is seen in this photo as it departs from North Pier with a service for Starr Gate. This was a few weeks before the North Station extension had opened so there is no confusion where the tram has been as it will definitely have come along the Prom with no diversion up Talbot Road. The tram is in the standard Flexity2 fleet livery of purple and white.
Looking over onto the Prom road and there is a single deck Blackpool Transport bus which is working a line 5 service to Halfway House. In the Palladium colours of grey, yellow and black the bus – registration number YX20 0FK – is an ADL Enviro200 MMC.
