Its that time of the week again where we feature a tram from outside the UK, and East Berlin is once again the location.
Gotha T4-62 bogie car 218 023-8 and matching trailer are seen on the long rural section through the woods by the Langer See between Grünau and Alt-Schmöckwitz. Both cars are packed with passengers heading for a Sunday out in the lakes and forests.
The weeds surrounding the tracks and the dirty and peeling paintwork on the trams don’t exactly add to the brightness of the shot but at least the three joggers, also heading for Schmöckwitz, add a touch of colour to an exceptionally grey morning.
