For the final time before we change subjects again “Picture in Time” features Luas in 2012.
And to end we have a double tram image. Both of the trams featured are Alstom Citadis 402s, which as we learnt last week were built as seven section trams in France in 2009 and 2010, but more recently have been extended to have nine sections.
The trams are numbered 5017 and 5012 and they are working Green line services. The higher numbered tram is bound for St Stephen’s Green (which was the terminus before the line was extended out to Broombridge) whilst 5012 is working the other way to Brides Glen (Gleann Bhride in Irish Gaelic as seen on the display here).
