Back to Crich for another “Picture in Time”.
We are again looking down towards Bowes Lyon Bridge in around 1988 and this time the tram we see having just come under the bridge is Gateshead 5. Up high above the bridge is Crich Stand and the whole scene is quickly familiar to regular visitors to Crich although there has been a bit of development over the past 36 years or so.
Although Gateshead 5 is now just a static exhibit at Crich, having last run in 2007, it has covered almost 14,000 miles at the museum running for the first time in 1966.
