Metro ticket holders to get discounts on top attractions in Birmingham

West Midlands Metro have announced another partnership which will enable tram ticket holders to enjoy discounts at top attractions in the city. They have teamed up with Merlin Entertainments Ltd to provide up to 25% off when visiting National SeaLife Centre and Legoland Discovery Centre.

The partnership sees tram ticket holders able to get up to 25% off admission at both the National SeaLife Centre or Legoland Discovery Centre. All you need to do to take advantage is to book tickets online and use the code Metro25. And that’s not all as you can also enjoy 20% off tram travel by downloading the MyMetro app and scanning the QR code from the confirmation email from one of the attractions after you have completed a booking.

Michael Reading-Skilton, Metro Head of Commercial, said: “With an additional 20% saving on travel costs on the day of their trip to SEA LIFE or LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, a day out in Birmingham offers exceptional value for money. We know that every penny counts for our customers, and we’re delighted to be working in partnership with Merlin to help families from across the region and beyond to make their money go a little further this summer when visiting the city centre.”

Both the National SeaLife Centre and Legoland Discovery Centre are a three minute walk from the Brindleyplace tramstop on the extension to Edgbaston Village.
