Off to the West Midlands Metro for this edition of “Out and About”.
12th January 2024 saw the 42nd (and at least for now final) CAF tram to enter service on the West Midlands Metro when 52 carried its first passengers. Having been delivered on 22nd November 2023 it had spent the next couple of months being commissioned for service. A few days after its entry into service it is seen here at Piper’s Row on the Wolverhampton Railway Station extension. (Photograph by John Binch, 20th January 2024)
