This time “Out and About” goes to the very end of the Edinburgh Trams line at Newhaven.
In these photos we take a look at 265 – a tram to retain its CR Smith adverts – which was stabled at Newhaven (beyond the platforms) for at least 90 minutes. This first image shows 265 at the end of the line with the amenity block beyond the barriers.
Then we take another look at the tram from the opposite side of Lindsay Road. In this view you can see that the tram is beyond the platforms at Newhaven as it waits out time before being sent back eastbound. (Both Photographs by Roy Calderwood, 27th January 2024)
