Today’s “Out and About” comes from Edinburgh as we take a quick look at a tram calling at Picardy Place on the Newhaven extension.
Picardy Place is the first stop on the extension from Edinburgh City Centre and is in effect a replacement stop for that just down the road at York Place which was closed in February 2022. Featuring an island platform (as do most on the extension) we see the rear end of 263 as it stops on the way to Newhaven. (Photograph by Roy Calderwood, 28th October 2023)
