A 19 year old man was taken to hospital on Tuesday 28th November after being hit by a tram in Oldham. In a statement Greater Manchester Police said the main had been hit by the tram on King Street in Oldham Town Centre at around 1100 and was taken to hospital having sustained serious head injuries.
Whilst an investigation took place all Metrolink services through Oldham were suspended with a revised service operating from Oldham Mumps to Rochdale Town Centre and from Westwood to East Didsbury.
