“Around the World in Trams” today is again taking a look at another tram in Riga.
35196 is another Tatra tram with this one being part of the T3MR class. It was built in 1989 for Riga and although it has moved between depots during its time in service it has remained operational ever since it first carried passengers. It is still part of the operating fleet in 2023.
When seen on 8th June 2015 35196 is working with another tram on route 7 heading to Dole. Dole is a shopping centre at the end of the line which starts at Auskekla iela.

Riga? What a smashing wee system. Visited it in October 2006, and just loved it.
