Today “Out and About” is going back to Edinburgh and its more of an aerial view at Edinburgh Park Station for us in this edition.
270 was the first tram in Edinburgh to have carried a full vinyl wrap advertising livery with this design for Breitling having first been seen in February 2023. Around four months later we see 270 here as it comes off Edinburgh Park Viaduct and is about to call at the Edinburgh Park Station stop with a journey from the Airport to Newhaven. The Novotel Edinburgh Park is just beyond the tram.
Just seconds later and we turn around to see 270 at the tramstop with Hermiston Gait Retail Park on the right, the Bankhead industrial estate on the left and the Pentland Hills just visible above the retail park. (Both Photographs by Roy Calderwood, 23rd June 2023)
