In Pictures: Another day at the East Anglia Transport Museum

In this pictorial article we head back once again to the East Anglia Transport Museum for views taken on Sunday 23rd July 2023. This was a standard operating day at the museum and as many reading these pages will be aware that means two trams and a trolleybus in action, and that was the case again on the day of Bryan Grint’s visit.

The two trams were Blackpool 11 (currently the only operational VAMBAC fitted tram in the UK) and Sheffield 513. Meanwhile, trolleybus interest was provided by the unique and stunning open top Bournemouth 202.

Bournemouth trolleybuses meet outside the trolleybus depot. Open topper 202 runs round the trolleybus circuit with 286 stabled outside.

Marton VAMBAC 11 comes out of the woods.

Open top trolleybus? Excellent vantage point for photos from a different angle as well as being a great way to travel around the museum. This view shows 11 again.
