In Pictures: Edinburgh 267 in new advert

Its been all of two weeks since we last reported on a new advert for Edinburgh Trams so it almost seems overdue for another one! This time its 267 which has received new ads with the tram now advertising the world famous Edinburgh International Festival.

This new ad was first noted on 11th July and features the Festival’s house colours of yellow and black. It’s the standard Edinburgh type advert with two full height sections with images of performers and the rest of the tram just seeing vinyls above the windows.

267 had previously been advertising Tennent’s Lager (in an advert first added in January 2023) and this advert is the seventh different one it has carried since it received its first in September 2017 for C R Smith. Other companies to advertise have been EE 5G (June-August 2019), Spotify (August-December 2019), Johnnie Walker visitor attraction (September 2021-December 2022) and St James Quarter Christmas shopping and dining (December 2022-January 2023).

The Edinburgh Festival is no stranger to advertising on the trams with 261 having an internal Edinburgh Trams promotion from July-September 2017, 264 carrying a Parabola Edinburgh Fringe Festival design July 2018-August 2019 and then 277 advertised the event from June 2021-July 2022.

267 approaches Picardy Place.
