We continue to go back in time a bit for this edition of “Out and About” as we make a return visit to Beamish.
The tram that we feature in this photo is Sheffield 264 – often to be seen in operation at Beamish in most weathers. It has the advantage of being enclosed but also having those open balconies which make it popular with the young and the young at heart! On this visit it was the sole tram in service.
