In Pictures: More snow in Birmingham

Well, its not more snow as it’s the same snowfall as before but its more photos of trams on the West Midlands Metro in the snow! Whereas last time we were out on the original stretch of the line in this pictorial article we head into Birmingham City Centre to see the Urbos3 and Urbos100 trams in action through the snow.

The snow is continuing to fall as 48 departs from Edgbaston Village with a service which will run all the way up to Wolverhampton St George’s. As seems to often be the custom the destination screen hasn’t been updated yet with it still showing Edgbaston Village.

45 is seen here approaching Five Ways stop heading to Edgbaston Village.

Here we see 43 which is working to Wolverhampton St George’s when captured on Broad Street.

The amount of snow which has fallen on the streets of Birmingham City Centre can be seen in this view of 29 which is at Brindleyplace bound for Edgbaston Village.

Library is the location this time where the last of Urbos3s, no. 37, is calling on the way to Edgbaston Village.

And the final shot here is of 46 which is on Broad Street as it works a service to Edgbaston Village. (All Photographs by Roland Bull, 9th March 2023)
