There will be a Model Tramway Exhibition taking place in Blackpool on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April, the first time in several years that an exhibition of this type has taken place in the resort.
With various layouts and displays promised there will also be demonstrations, trade support and refreshments. Layouts will include old and new trams from across the globe and will give you the chance to see some of the best in tram modelling.
The event is being organised jointly by Corporation Model Trams (more details at http://www.themodeltramshop.com) and the Tramway & Light Railway Society.
It will take place at the Solaris Centre on New South Promenade in Blackpool – just opposite the modern tramstop at Harrow Place. Opening hours will be 1000-1700 on the Saturday and 1000-1600 on the Sunday. Admission is £6 for adults and £4 for children.
