Crich Photo line-ups: Sheffield Trams – 2019

Its time for the final edition of “Crich Photo line-ups” (for now – we are sure there will be lots more to join this list in future years!) and we go back to 2019 for a line-up of Sheffield trams.

22nd September 2019 was the second day of the Crich 60 event which celebrated the 60th anniversary of the founding of the site we now know as the Crich Tramway Village. Where the first day was met with sunshine and a Leeds tram line-up, day two was wet and for Leeds read Sheffield! Five of the Sheffield cars in the collection at Crich were included in this line-up with horse car 15 and works car 330 joined by double decker electric passenger trams 74, 189 and 510.

The rain is coming down but that doesn’t stop the assembled photographers from getting shots of the Sheffield five! Its 15, 330, 510, 189 and 74.

We move along for another angle of the quintet. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior)

  • We hope you’ve enjoyed this series which has included some of the many varied line-ups seen on the depot fan in recent years? Have we featured your favourite? If not tell us when and what it is and it may be included in a future iteration of this series!

  1. Stuart Cooke says:

I see you saved the best till last that line up is totally stunning, the wet cobblestones adds so much to the atmosphere of the image.
