Its time for another edition of “Around the World in Trams” and Lviv in Ukraine is again the location for another couple of images taken in February 1994.
In both of these images we see 822 and 818, both of which were built in 1974, further round the Knyahyni Olhy loop after fresh snowfall. Advertising on trams was still relatively rare and 818 is publicising two separate firms. Enthusiasts who like to ride all the track of a system would have been pleased to find that it was possible to cover the entire track of the loop – and on this occasion a very healthy load of passengers is taking the opportunity to do so!
