“Picture in Time” is again visiting Nottingham Express Transit for this latest edition.
Of all the advertising liveries to have been seen on Nottingham Express Transit, one company keeps coming back for me – under two different names. Now known as e-on, the energy company had been founded in 1989 as Powergen and it is under both brands that they have advertised on NET. Powergen advertised on 201 and 213 at the start of services in 2004 and then 2012 to 2016 208 and then 206 saw adverts applied for e-on. After a gap e-on returned to advertising on 213 in 2020.
206 received the below advert at the end of 2013 (replacing a similar advert on 208) and it would remain in situ until 2016. We see 206 on 17th March 2014 approaching Wilkinson Street with a service heading to Hucknall.
