Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year

As we reach the end of another year we wish all readers of British Trams Online a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. With it having been another year which has been “unlike any other” I’m not going to give a review of what has happened over the past 12 months as we all know there have been some challenges but in spite of that there has still been plenty to keep the website regularly updated. This is only possible thanks to the generosity of those who send information and photos in so a big thank you to everyone who has supplied us with anything over the past year and of course thank you to everyone who reads and views the site – without you doing that there wouldn’t be much point in any of it!

I hope you all remain healthy in spite of everything going on in the world at the moment and are all look forward to a time when things can get back to some sense of normality – if there is such a thing! Here’s to what we can only hope is a much better 2022! And whatever gets thrown at us British Trams Online plans to still be here covering events across the British Isles, both modern and heritage trams!

A little bit of housekeeping before we sign off for the year. Although the BTO “offices are closed” until early in the new year there is still plenty of content to come throughout the festive period with our three photo series (“15 Years Apart”, “They Ran in 2021” and “Out and About”) continuing every day until new year plus there remain a few outstanding news articles to publish as well. (It’s the magic of technology in that I can schedule lots of posts without having to be there to click to publish!). Please do keep on sending emails but any emails received from Christmas Eve until early in the new year will not be responded to immediately as I intend to take a break from the website! Comments on these pages on the same timeframe will also not be approved!

Thanks everyone once again, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and see you all in 2022!
