Its our last visit of “They Ran in 2021” to Beamish as we feature another of the operating trams at the museum.
That tram is Sheffield 264 which was one of the first trams to be commissioned for service during 2021 once they started operating again at the start of September 2021. With its relatively large capacity and mainly enclosed design (but still with the open balconies for those feeling more confident of the elements!) the tram saw extensive use throughout the truncated operating season.
