Track issues lead to short running at Crich

Anyone visiting the Crich Tramway Village on Tuesday 31st August has only been able to enjoy a shorter than usual tram ride after a track fault was discovered the previous day. Trams were only able to run between Town End and just to the north of the Bandstand with reduced price admission offered for anyone visiting for the day.

The problem with the track was reported during Bank Holiday Monday, 30th August, and the engineering team at the museum are now working towards repairing the issue to allow for full services to run again all the way to Glory Mine.

On Tuesday 31st August to take into consideration that a much shorter tram ride could be offered, a special day admission ticket was offered at £12.50 for adults and seniors and £8.00 for children.

Updates when a full service is resumed.

No big secret, its an issue with the points beyond the bandstand, though it hasn’t been ststed what the issue is.
