Lockdown Walks: Manchester Metrolink 3041

In this latest “Lockdown Walk” we take a trip to the Manchester Airport line on Metrolink.

The Manchester Airport line has now been operating for over six years with the first passenger services having started on 3rd November 2014. Approximately 9 miles in length it features 14 stops with it leaving the East Didsbury line just after St Werburgh’s Road. Before the pandemic it enjoyed a tram every 12 minutes, including early morning services to cater for workers at the Airport, but is currently on a 10 minute frequency.
