Tree maintenance to see NET changes over the Bank Holiday weekend

Nottingham Express Transit will be undertaking some standard maintenance work on the trees close to the tramway over the August Bank Holiday weekend which will see some changes to services to allow this to safely take place. Both the Phoenix Park and Hucknall lines will be affected at different times.

The work is required to prevent the trees from causing damage to tramway infrastructure (such as the overhead wires) and is standard maintenance work which has to take place from time to time to ensure the system remains operating to its full capacity.

Saturday 29th August will see no trams running to Phoenix Park with services diverted to terminate at Bulwell. The stops at Highbury Vale (Phoenix Park branch), Cinderhill and Phoenix Park will be closed with a replacement bus service running from Phoenix Park to Bulwell Bus Station via Cinderhill.

Then on Sunday 30th August trams to Hucknall will terminate at Moor Bridge with a replacement bus running from Moor Bridge to Hucknall via Butlers Hill. The stops at Butlers Hill and Hucknall will be closed.
