Today we feature another photo from Sheffield with the year again 1995.
Taken on 17th August 1995 we are looking at one of the original Siemens-Duewag built trams with a service bound for Herdings Park. Taken on the westerly end of Glossop Road the destination blinds had obviously not been fully installed by this time as the tram is carrying the destination as a separate card at the bottom of the driver’s windscreen. By this date the complete original system was running except for the section between Shalesmoor and Malin Bridge/Middlewood.
