In Pictures: More views from afar in Sheffield

As the lockdown continues and with it restrictions on going out we all still try to get as much fun and interest in our lives as possible and for those lucky few who live near tramways without having to go too far there is still the chance to see trams, albeit from a distance further afield than we had been used to before. Our regular Sheffield contributor, Stuart Cooke, has again been around his apartment block and has shared the following images showing trams on the reduced service at Holme Lane and Langsett Drive.

Looking across Hillsborough Bus Interchange we can see 125 in this view.

Another shot of 125 as it works a Blue route service to Malin Bridge.

125 once more is seen in this photo as it leaves Hillsborough behind to travel the fairly short distance to Malin Bridge.

Having departed from Malin Bridge again and now heading back to Halfway, 125 travels along Holme Lane. Note that the new road surface – a permanent application of a gravel type surface – has also been added here.

One final view of 125 on Holme Lane on its return to Halfway. (All Photographs by Stuart Cooke, 20th April 2020)
