The University of Wolverhampton wrap on West Midlands Metro 51 is no more with the vinyls having been removed from the tram during September 2025. Following the removal of this advert the tram is now running in full fleet livery once more.
The blue vinyls for the University of Wolverhampton had been added to the tram back in July 2025 but it was obviously a short-term contract (presumably it has fulfilled its purpose of encouraging people to choose the Uni during clearing) as just a couple of months later the tram is back in the (brighter) blue of the standard West Midlands Metro fleet livery.
This had been the first advert carried by 51 and leaves just two of the fleet with adverts. They are 52 (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra) and 58 (Birmingham City University).
