In Pictures: Refurbishment work continues on Incentros

We recently took a look at the first three Incentro trams in Nottingham which have had their refurbishment completed allowing them to return to service but behind the scenes at Wilkinson Street Depot it remains busy with further trams under attention receiving the extensive work to improve their reliability. In two separate visits we see trams under attention courtesy of Geoff Pickles and Nigel Pennick.

A general view inside the workshop with three Incentros under attention.

Inside and you can see how extensive the work is with the flooring removed to allow a full mechanical overhaul.

Another general view of the workshop during another visit. 215 on the right is undergoing general maintenance.

212 is receiving the full refurbishment here with the tram’s exterior rubbed down for attention to its paintwork.
