In Preview: Build in Bricks at Crich – 25th to 31st July

One of the most popular new family orientated events at the Crich Tramway Village didn’t have anything to do with large scale trams but did result in a stunning mosaic depicting Glasgow 812! It was the Build in Bricks event which took place at the very end of the school holidays in August and it is back for the summer holidays in 2019, this time at the start of the holiday period between 25th and 31st July – and Crich are calling on anyone to help build another mosaic, which must be completed in two days!

Build in Bricks will once again allow visitors to build many different objects out of LEGO with giant brick pits available to provide hours of fun. There will be the chance to create creative displays, help to build that giant mosaic and build LEGO cars or boats or indeed anything else that your creative juices lead to you. Ideal for not only children at the start of the long school holiday period there are likely be many big kids who want to get involved in being creative as well!

Of course the seven day period between Thursday 25th and Wednesday 31st July will also see the usual attractions at Crich including the not to be missed tram rides all the way from Town End to Glory Mine – with passengers now able to alight at the northern terminus and see the new arrangement for trams including the slightly extended track.
