September Review – Crich: No. 10 – Stephenson Place

During events like Simply Trams Stephenson Place often provides some excellent photographic opportunities with the trams queuing up for their turn to move forward to the loading stop and this event was no different. In today’s retrospective we turn our attention to these queues.

With the Blackpool Electric Locomotive out on the mainline it is joined by Sheffield 510 sitting outside The Red Lion.

Sheffield 510 again features in this image. This time it has drawn up behind Blackpool & Fleetwood Rack 2. Meanwhile we can also see Berlin 223 006-4 heading north.

A very busy scene at Stephenson Place with the queue led by Chesterfield 7. Also present are GMJ, Blackpool 762, the Blackpool Electric Locomotive and Blackpool 236 with Croydon Tramlink 058 off north. (All Photographs by Gareth Prior)
