In Pictures: 276 gets a Christmas and Hogmanay advert as it stars on the Gyle Santa Express

As we reported last week for the first time ever Santa Claus visited Edinburgh Trams with three Gyle Santa Express trips running on Monday 3rd December. Good passenger numbers were spotted on board the tram during these trips with 276 also sporting a red nose, antlers and a driver in Santa hat! Roy Calderwood captured these images.

276 – or is it Rudolph! – at York Place. Note the red nose, antler vinyls added to the upper cab side, Rudolph name and the Gyle Santa Express name board. At least one other tram has also been spotted with the antlers.

A view showing the Hogmanay side of the new advert for 276 (the other side has Christmas advertising). The tram previously advertised the Edinburgh Dungeon.

Another look at the Hogmanay adverts. This section encourages people to take the tram to the events rather than drinking and driving. (All Photographs by Roy Calderwood)
