Picture in Time: Docklands Light Railway 02+14

Our archive photo series continues today with a trip to London’s Docklands for a picture on the DLR in 2004.

We are looking at two Class B2K units in the form of 02 and 14 which are just arriving at Greenwich with a service which is running from Bank to Lewisham. This class of train was built by Bombardier in Bruges, Belgium from 2002-3 and remain in service today. Both are in the then current fleet livery of straight blue and red section along with white stripes and white doors. In the background a Novotel Hotel is under construction. This photo was taken on 1st November 2004.
