Picture in Time: South Yorkshire Supertram 14

An early shot from the South Yorkshire Supertram system is the feature of today’s Picture in Time photo.

We are looking here at 14 (now numbered 114 of course) which is just coming off the bridge by Nunnery Depot with the depot access track in foreground. This photo was taken on 12th August 1994 at which time the only part of the network which was open to passengers was that between Fitzalan Square on the outskirts of Sheffield City Centre and Meadowhall. 114 remains as part of the operational fleet to this day.
